Quoted: Steven Woloshin on Cancer Centers’ Expensive Ads

“The people who these ads are targeting are really vulnerable,” Dartmouth’s Steven Woloshin says in a Reuters story about the way some U.S. cancer centers are spending a lot of money advertising themselves to cancer patients who might think they are missing out on good care if they go elsewhere for treatment.

Woloshin is a professor of medicine at Geisel School of Medicine and a professor of The Dartmouth Institute for Health Policy and Clinical Practice.
